With over three decades on the international jazzscene, Christina has forged a distinctive voice as both a composer and performer. Her compositions are rich in storytelling, marked by dynamic contrasts, lyrical beauty, and powerful improvisational interplay always with authenticity and soul in every note.

A master of her instrument, Christina has performed and composed for ensembles of all sizes — from classical chamber groups to contemporary jazz orchestras. She has released 12 critically acclaimed albums under her own name and toured extensively across Europe, Canada, Africa and Asia.

In addition to her performance career, Christina is a dedicated educator, sharing her knowledge and passion at conservatories and music institutions across Denmark.

Her remarkable contributions to jazz have earned her numerous accolades, including the prestigious Ben Webster Prize, Tivoli Jazz Award/ Beckett-Fonden – Inspirator of the Year, 2024 and international honors such as the Europe International Jazz Contest (Belgium). In 2023 she was also nominated for the Deutscher Jazz Preis.
